Ohio Dog Bite – Dayton Man Attacked by Police Dog

Ohio Dog Bite Injury Lawyer –

A Dayton man has hired personal injury attorney Michael L. Wright to represent him after he was bitten by a Dayton police dog. Piankhi Amen Ra was having a casual conversation, while standing outside of MJ’s Fish and Chips, located at 1600 W. Riverview Avenue, when a City of Dayton police officer pulled up in his cruiser. Video shows the police officer exiting his vehicle, and shortly after, the officer’s dog escaping from the cruiser and immediately attacking Mr. Amen Ra, biting him on the left arm, causing severe injuries.

The unidentified officer can be seen on video pulling the dog off Mr. Amen Ra and placing the dog back in the police cruiser. What happens next is concerning.  In a failed attempt to cover up this attack against Mr. Amen Ra, the police officer denied the incident occurred and did not complete a required incident/police report. Luckily, the entire incident was caught on video from a nearby store surveillance camera.

Attorneys at Wright & Schulte are committed to helping Mr. Amen Ra recover for the injuries and damages he sustained as a result of this unprovoked dog attack.
