Parents Of Ava Ellis And Attorney Michael Wright Hold Press Conference With Hopes Of Answers In Columbus Police Shooting Of Their 4-Year Old Daughter
The parents of the 4 year-old girl, Ava Ellis, who was shot in the leg by a Columbus Police Officer two weeks ago, held a news conference yesterday to discuss the status of the case. The girl’s parents, Brad and Andrea Ellis, are still seeking answers and reported that their daughter is facing several additional surgeries to repair the damage to her leg. The couple, who were joined at the news conference by their attorney Michael Wright of Wright & Schulte LLC, are seeking answers from the Columbus police regarding what the department plans to do with the officer, Jonathan Thomas, who was responsible for the Columbus police shooting.
